Most popular bulls in Kenya for A.I 2023 -KAGRC

Kenya animal genetic resource centre KAGRC has released the most popular bulls in Kenya based on its Nairobi sales.

The data show bulls with the high number of doses sold were brown, a Friesian where 673 doses were sold while 130 doses were sold for ammonia an Ayrshire.

KAGRC’s mandate is to produce, preserve, and conserve animal genetic materials (semen embryos, tissues and live animals) and rear breeding sires for the provision of high-quality disease-free semen to meet the national demand and for export.
